Marketing Dynamics was instrumental in getting Steady Grind reviewed by McGhee Entertainment (who represents KISS, Ted Nugent, and Hootie and the Blowfish).  In addition, Marketing Dynamics advised on a showcase label review by Warner Bros. Records, Virgin Records, and Island Def Jam at Hard Rock Cafe.  We created a looping video that played on all 10 plasma screens at Hard Rock Cafe as the band prepped for their debut, recruited a group of professional cheerleader dancers, and influenced Texas Live TV to show up to tape the performance. The band was allowed to play only two songs and had the look of a professionally managed and represented group - the overall goal. After their performance, the group was interviewed by Texas Live TV and the recording companies.  Steady Grind is currently being considered to open for Ted Nugent when he comes to Houston on tour in FY2006. In addition, we will be placing them in non-traditional media outlets (i.e., software gaming, television, on-line, and satellite radio).

Marketing Dynamics has been retained to market "Casita de Cruzita" vacation rental property in College Station, Texas.  The positioning and brand strategy is to highlight the history of this 1920's home that is located 5-minutes from Kyle Field and A&M University.  "We have developed the brand logo, designed the business cards, brochure and website strategy, and will advise on the various network groups in Bryan and College Station; especially the Aggie Network and local Chamber of Commerce. In addition, we will advise on pricing strategy and viral marketing programs to include the creation of a postcard mailer, video feature and DVD, and strategic alliance building with local businesses via a discount VIP Guest card" says Andy Valadez, Marketing Strategist.  "At 90% capacity, this historic property should generate at least $100K in annual revenue" says Victoria Martinez Nichols, President and Founder. This vacation home is now being considered for a Texas Monthly feature and others.
 

Marketing Dynamics has an accomplished list of customers and achievements.  For instance, positioning the growth strategy for Paver Connection, an interlocking Pavestone® paver istaller by creating a complete branding strategy that took this business from $500,000 in annual revenues to over $5,000,000 per year. This strategy was instrumental in winning the Home Depot® account in all 91 stores exclusively for Southern Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi markets.

Highlights of this strategy implementation include:

  • Generated $13.5 million in 4.5 years of marketing.
  • Endorsements from several key media and construction experts.
  • Realized over $400,000 in material cost savings through supplier negotiations.
  • Envisioned and outlined a strategy to build nation’s largest outdoor paver display, measuring over 30,000 square feet in Katy Texas.

Marketing Dynamics chaired the Greater Houston Builders Association Home Show 2004. As a direct result of this effort, the show was the most successful ever as measured in attendance, topics of discussion and dollars generated. Unique positioning was "The Education, Innovation and Technology" focus featuring Michael Garfield, “The High-tech Texan®” of KPRC 950 AM to augment the show strategy.  The “top tier” speaker list included David Powers of David Powers Homes, Sam Rashkin, National Director of Energy Star, Jim Mann, HP, Director of Engineering Handhelds (worldwide), and Tim Costello, CEO of Builder Homesite, representing a consortium of 35 national builders.
